Education:

Diploma in Education (mathematics and physics), a Bachelor of Science in Education, and MSc. degree in Mathematical Modelling, a Licentiate PhD in Mathematics Optimization, and a PhD in Mathematics with a focus on applied Mathematics

Teaching:

He taught mathematics and physics in several secondary schools for eight years before enrolling at Dar es Salaam University. He has been teaching a variety of mathematics courses at the university, including Life Contingencies, Introduction to Actuarial Mathematics, Basic Pension Mathematics, and Several Variables Calculus for Non-majors.

 

Research interests include social insurance, economics, population, modelling, and optimization. His research interests also include asset liability management for pension funds, pension system projection and analysis, and mathematical modelling. The study resulted in a few publications in international and local journals.
